going to the transfer station it's a lot different than going to the dump or the landfill. It gets kind of smucky in there so I always bring my boots. The guys working there are always pretty good and fast about driving everybody in, as long as you get people that can back up good it goes pretty smooth you can go 12 times a year before you have to start being weighed if you're a local resident and you show your proof of ID. So when the landfills closed no notice it's always good to run over there
Careful what day you come here. If you’re a resident or just a trade worker you’re saved until last and wait times can be up to 45 minutes to an hour. Not sure if they know what they’re doing
In the last 2 years does places gotten harder and harder to work with For Virginia Beach residents. I went their twice last week and both times was unable to drop off my debris. One time they were working on the scale so for some reason Virginia residents weren't allowed to go drop their stuff off. The next day I went and was informed by the lady at the front window that now Virginia residents can only drop their stuff off on certain days. On top Of these restrictions you're only allowed to drop off debris or unload anything that you're trying to thorough way as a residents of Virginia Beach a certain amount of times a year now. This place used to be easy to do with and I utilized it all the time now it's mormon aggravation Then anything else..
Great and friendly people and for those of you that are complaining need to have a better understanding ok it’s a trash dump same as entering a Sewer plant you are going to smell and see sh.. that’s nasty so if you have a problem with that you should hire someone to haul your trash etc for you and if can’t afford that please be quiet and grow up
