BUYER BEWARE! They don’t stand behind their tagline “we grow” - they are fine until your grass needs help. We had gorgeous Zoyshia grass - looked like carpet. Then ALM took over. We did every treatment they recommended! Spring came and our lawn was terrible. We called them and asked them to come out because the grass looked dead! They said we didn’t know what we were talking about (rude and talked down to us) that it was just dormant. We waited a few weeks and asked for a Manager to come out. He finally admitted our grass was dead! Took soil samples and said he would get back to us in a week. After a week and a half - we called back to see the status. They pretty much said nothing they can do - it was a cold Winter and it must have killed the grass. No solutions offered - basically said “not our problem”. Don’t walk - run away from this Company! Unprofessional!
I absolutely love ALM. I used another company in the past that didn't really know how & when to fertilize St Augustin grass & nearly destroyed our beautiful lawn. ALM came, and in less than 6 months got it looking amazing again! Today Steve came to treat the grass & was very knowledgeable & respectful. I also recommend their shrub services. Mary was amazing coming to see if I had a fungus in my bushes, which thankfully I didn't, and she was honest & helpful. I recommend ALM to anyone in the Hampton Roads!
My brother in-law recommended this company. I Purchased a new home and I didnt realize how bad the yard was. We bought it last fall. Steven saw my yard and knew what to do! Very knowledgeable and experienced. He knew what he was doing! My yard is looking better already! Awesome Company!
David was super knowledgeable and helped answer some questions that I had. I fairly recently purchased my home and started your services. He helped me figure out an issue that was really bugging me, and gave great advice on our watering schedule. I highly recommend ALM, and shout out to David for taking a few minutes to give me some great tips so our lawn stays beautiful with your services and our home maintenance.
Derrick is the best. He worked with a new guy today. If it works as great as last year we will love it. I always thought ALM would be so expensive. It is better priced than others. Difference is you can tell an ALM lawn when you walk the neighborhood! No comparison!!
